Whale watching
Kaikoura is famous for its year around whale watching and
also offers swimming with the dolphins or an Albatross encounter.
These are all within 90 minutes drive to the North. A great
days excursion is to drive the Alpine Pacific Triangle -
one of the worlds great scenic drives go whale watching
and return via the inland route.
