Savour the dining experience
Claremont Country Estate offers guests a refreshingly different
fine dining experience in a warm and relaxed atmosphere.
Our in-house chef creates imaginative and exquisitely flavoursome
dishes, using only the freshest seasonal ingredients
from our own or locally grown produce. This includes organic
vegetables and fruits from our gardens and orchard and our
own Cervena (farmed venison) and the best New Zealand lamb.
A carefully selected wine list of signature local Waipara
wines is available to accompany and complement your delicious
meal.
Following hosted pre-dinner drinks, a “lodge-style”
four-course dinner is served in our pavilion dining room,
overlooking warmly-lit stone-walled courtyards. Up to 12
guests can be seated together around an oak refectory table,
resulting in a convivial and entertaining evening. For those
who prefer private dining, you can enjoy dinner separately
in our conservatory dining room.
Those guests staying three nights or more who are looking
for an alternative dining experience may elect to dine one
night at the nearby award-winning Nor’wester restaurant
where you can enjoy a Claremont table d´hote menu
at no extra cost
A sumptuous chef’s gourmet breakfast
is served in our conservatory dining room in a café-style
setting with warm sunshine streaming through the bi-fold
glass doors and with delightful views over our serene grounds
and rose gardens.
Our lodge tariff includes hosted pre-dinner drinks and
canapés, four-course dinner and a full breakfast.
Guest preferences and dietary requirements are catered for.
