Country Estate Lodge Tariff and Rates
- There is a high season tariff
and a low season tariff.
- We offer a basic B&B rate
and also an inclusive Lodge rate.
For guests who book our inclusive
tariff and stay two nights or more we include a morning's
guided Land
Rover Safari adventure tour. This has
been described by Destinations Magazine as “the
most interesting and diverse in NZ!”. This
excursion is available at extra cost to those who are on
a B&B tariff or those who stay only one night.
The basic B & B RATE - bed and breakfast (without
dinner or safari tour)
Rate includes gracious accommodation, full lodge breakfast,
afternoon teas, hosted pre-dinner drinks, use of all lodge
facilities and access to our exclusive 2,400 acre estate
& private nature reserve. It does not include dinner
or the Land Rover Safari adventure tour. Our four-course
lodge dinner is available by prior arrangement at NZ$106
+ GST per person. The Land Rover safari excursion is optional
at NZ$140 + GST per person. (Children under 14 years are
half price).

breakfast with safari tour
Rate includes gracious accommodation, full lodge breakfast,

standard bar and a four-course dinner. The Land Rover Safari

Self-drive is recommended. Transfers are available by
chauffeur driven limousine (NZ$175 + GST), by shuttle
bus (NZ$140 + GST) or by
helicopter
(price upon application). |
| Dining.
Our inclusive LODGE RATE includes dinner served at the
lodge 1st November to 30th April. During the Low season
this rate includes a Claremont Table d’hote menu
at the nearby Nor’wester Restaurant. For those
on a B&B Tariff there is a choice of cafes and restaurants
within 10-15 minutes drive. Dinner at the lodge is also
available by arrangement at $106.00pp + GST per person. |
| The
Land Rover safari adventure tour
is operated 10am to 1.00pm high season only (1st November
to 30th April) and is subject to suitable weather conditions.
A short form modified tour may be offered in the low
season. For those on an inclusive tariff who stay only
one night or who are on a B&B Tariff the Land Rover
Safari is optional at $140pp + GST. |
| Ram
Paddock Cottage is subject to a
two night minimum stay all seasons. |
| Peak season
reservations 24 December to 2 January
are subject to a two night minimum stay. |
| Christmas
Day/Boxing Day and New Years Eve/New Years Day
special fare is provided and there is a surcharge of
NZ75.00 + GST. |
| B &
B Rate is not available during the peak
season 24 December to 6 January. |
| Cot for
infants $55.00 + GST per day. |
| Lodge exclusive
use. The lodge is available on an exclusive
use basis at the applicable seasonal rate for the five
rooms less 20% discount. Should the cottage be required
in addition to the lodge rooms this discount will be
extended to the applicable cottage rate. |
| Annual Lodge
closure. The lodge is closed from 1st
July to 30th September. |
GST is Government Sales Tax and is currently 12.5%.
